Thanks to the release of a survey from Suncorp Bank titled the Being Digitally Savvy Report, we can get another insight into technology usage in the home and office that is a slight bit more detailed than previous Census releases.

The bank conducted a survey of just under 3000 people between the ages of 18 and 64 during March 2015.

Out of the results, they confirmed that our daily usage of our gadgets are up to 6 hours a day and we are spending anything from $2300 a year as an individual or $6000 as a family with two kids.

Many of usĀ are under-budgeting our mobile and smartphone spending with common patterns of up to $200 difference showing in the survey results.

The report has also shown that men love digital addons, with money going into digital streaming services like Spotify & Deezer, applications for our mobile phones and tablets plus entertainment services like Netflix and Stan.
